PhotoGuru Media Player is designed to display photos and videos from various file- and photo hosting services on Android-based phones, tablets, smart TVs and set-top boxes. The intuitive and beautiful user interface gives users easy access to the photos and provides an inexpensive way to showcase photos, videos and media presentations in the most professional way possible. PhotoGuru is compatible with Android TV devices as well as Amazon’s FireTV media players. Rendering of images in 4K/UHD (3840 x 2160 pixel) is supported on the NVidia Shield (all versions) as well as on the newer Amazon FireTV devices.

Presentation
Photos and videos can be presented automatically in slideshow mode with various transitions (Ken Burns, random, slide-in, fly-in, dissolve and pan&zoom). If available, videos are integrated into the slideshow and start automatically. Swiping gestures allow users to quickly scroll through photo- and video collection and zooming is supported via pinch-zoom.
The app is compatible with most video file formats. Copyrighted video files (e.g. ripped DVDs) can be played via “external video players” (VLC or MXPlayer).
Read-only Access
PhotoGuru accesses all cloud-based file- and photo hosting services in read-only mode and is designed to give clients, friends and family easy access to photos without allowing them to modify the hosted photos or videos.
Languages and Translations
The application supports English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Polish, Romanian and Czech. Please contact us if your are interested in localizing the application into your native language in exchange for a free lifetime license of the app.

Compatibility
The app is compatible with all Android devices running at least Android Lollipop. It was primarily designed for Android TV devices (NVidia Shield, Sony Bravia TVs, MiBox 4K, Nexus Player, Amazon FireTV) but it also runs on high resolution Android tablets and phones as well as on the Android Subsystem for Windows.

The app is 100% free of ads, does not cost anything and there is no functional difference between free and paid versions with the exception of a trial message. This trial message can be removed by purchasing a subscription.
